Who we are

Mike Beaudet founded Ski Pros Megeve to bring together like minded independent ski instructors to provide the best ski related services in the Espace Mt Blanc and the French Alps in general.

As an independent ski instructor, clinic and hiring coach for many years he has worked in the best ski areas in Colorado, France and Italy. With his friendly nature, flexible attitude and using over 35 years of ski teaching experience to give you the best and bring out the best in you. Mike is a native English and French speaking bilingual teacher with ski lessons easily taught in both languages. He represented the United States at The French Government National Alpine Academy (ENSA), and was a member of the first PSIA National Academy he is full certified (PSIA-RM) and French (BEES).

SkiPros was created to provide you greater choice, flexibility and personalized service in your search for ski lessons. Our aim is to provide an interesting and pleasant alternative to the usual "ski school" approach of the past. Take control of your learning curve and make the breakthroughs in skiing you and your family desire.

What we offer

We offer "one on one" coaching, guiding and instruction based on the ability, desires and needs of our clients, from "never-evers" to expert levels on day trips with certified Guides in spring and helicopter drops in the Italian and Swiss Alps!.

We listen and speak your language; we can teach you to understand the fundamentals of skiing, you will learn accurate easy movements that will have you progress rapidly.

We believe that skiing and learning to ski is fun especially if you have teachers that love what they do, we take pride in doing so and all with a big smile!

» Our lesson prices are very competitive. An innovation with SkiPros is if you are a group of more than 4 the 5th up to 8 persons ski free... so if you are a family or a group the best tuition is still easily affordable.


The intermediate rut
This is one of the biggest areas of concern for many skiers. SkiPros coaches have developed a course to help just about everyone breakthrough and ski the whole mountain well and safely and not just green or flat blue runs. Review the teaching topics page and you will see what we suggest.

Where to meet us Depending upon your accommodations and our schedule we can meet you wherever you wish in the Espace Mt Blanc! We can come to your chalet or hotel in the morning. When you reserve with SkiPros we will confirm your reservation immediately and give you accurate directions where to meet us.

Where we ski
We cover all of the Espace Mt Blanc, a huge area that stretches from Megeve to Les Contamines on the other side of St Gervais, the two main linked areas are St Gervais - St Nicholas and Megeve; then Combloux, (Megeve) Le Jaillet and La Giettaz. All of these areas are covered on the same Espace Mt Blanc lift pass.

In addition we can offer day trips to Praz and Chamonix and with the services of a Guide the famous Vallee Blanche, to Courmayeur and Cervinia in Italy or to the fantastic Portes du Soleil ski area in Les Gets and Morzine.

We can help organize your ski holiday
At SkiPros we would be delighted to help you make the most from your holiday. We have expert local knowledge to help you make the most of your skiing holiday.

We can recommend accommodation, arrange ski equipment rental at locations suited to where you are staying, we can arrange that your lift tickets are ready for you when arrive. Just give us a call we will be happy to help.

Spring and Summer Courses
Our spring and summer program is based in Cervinia in Italy which links to Zermatt in Switzerland. This is our backdrop for our French language conversation and ski course.
» A true high altitude resort 3800 meters, Cervinia has good snow conditions far after most low level resorts are closed. In the summer the glacier on the Plateau Rosa is one of the largest in Europe and can offer excellent training.

Our programmes:
Spring: In spring we offer a full range of lessons as we do in Megeve we can recommend a large variety of accommodation ski hire and local knowledge about restaurants etc.
Summer: Summer skiing takes place in the morning and we offer 4 hour per day coaching courses for all levels. Conversational French is the imperative! The afternoons are taken up with many activities such as local cooking class, mountain walking, tennis, mountain biking, golf or exploring the local cultural sites. All in French!
